Colorful Minds Behavior Specialist offers services to individuals ages 2-7.

*INDIVIDUAL ABA THERAPY

Individual ABA therapy targets skills more intensively in more frequently in focused sessions. First we will conduct a free consultation to determine if Colorful Minds Behavior Specialist is a good fit for your needs. An initial assessment is conducted and individualized goals are written based on the client’s starting point. The focus of therapy can include increasing positive skills, such as communication, social, adaptive skills, and decreasing problem behaviors. All instruction is provided with the goals of keeping the client engaged, having fun, and wanting to learn. Individual ABA instruction includes a mix of Natural Environment Teaching and Discrete Trial Training. Sessions are limited to a minimum of 10 hours per week to up to 25 hours per week in order to provide focused instruction, maintain motivation, and facilitate growth and generalization of skills.

In School Focused ABA therapy with a BCBA

Focused ABA therapy is a short term service that is typically 8-12 month and up to 24 hours weekly. In school therapy consist of public and private school. Some schools do not allow outside therapist into the school because they have contracted with other service providers so before we move forward with school therapy we would have to verify that I will be allowed into the School.

-For school therapy we aim to focus on improving social skills, attending skills, compliance with teachers, and much more.

In Home Focused ABA therapy with a BCBA

Focused ABA therapy is a short term service that is typically 8-12 month and up to 24 hours weekly. For in home therapy the therapy sessions will take place in the home.

-For school therapy we aim to focus on improving play skills, functional living skills, compliance with caregivers, and much more.

Community Focused ABA therapy with a BCBA

Focused ABA therapy is a short term service that is typically 8-12 month and up to 24 hours weekly. For community therapy, therapy will be held at a public outing such as the grocery store, the park, restarauntans: McDonalds, Chic-fil-a, etc, and some local community events.

-For community therapy, this gives your child the opportunity to take already learned skills and use them in real life settings. We aim to focus on improving social skills, coping with transitioning, eloping, and much more. more.
